Banksy

In the space of a decade, using cardboard stencils and spraypaint, Banksy has become a global brand. In that time he's maintained his anonymous mystique while spraying out his subversive political commentary. The aesthetic is clean, the humour spot-on, the imagery instantly readable and recognisable.

In the space of a decade, using cardboard stencils and spraypaint, Banksy has become a global brand.  In that time he's maintained his anonymous mystique while spraying out his subversive political commentary, consumerist cat-calls and clever graphic satires on the state we're in. The aesthetic is clean, the humour spot-on, the imagery instantly readable and recognisable.

His street art, which combines graffiti with a distinctive stencilling technique has appeared in London and cities the world over.

He has been the media darling of the last eight years and has performed countless stunts that are increasingly well documented from hanging his own work in The Tate, painting live elephants and perhaps his most audacious stunt in April 2008 ‘One Nation Under CCTV’ which was located just off Oxford St required three stories of scaffolding to complete right under the eye of the surveillance cameras his work was referencing.

Banksy’s work continues to sell to Hollywood celebrities and high profile collectors for vast sums of money.

Our Banksy stock is updated all the time but you can view our current inventory of limited edition Banksy prints here.
